I couldn’t really get into the Lord of the Rings movies. I got the first one free on DVD somehow and I only made ot through about half before I turned it off.
It’s very hard for me to narrow a list down to ten, but mine would likely include:
The Godfather/The Godfather II
The Departed
Adaptation
12 Angry Men
The Dark Knight
Memento
Brick
Heat
Clerks
The Avengers
I’m also a fan of numerous Coen Brothers films, but it was ultimately too hard to pick between them (No Country For Old Men and The Big Lebowski were probably my top two). Honorable mention to The Wrestler, The Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3 (original version), LA Confidential, and several others.
