Uhrm... Hello.

Hi, I’m Samushi… This is my first AB/DL site, so I’m not quite sure how people usually introduce themselves.
Let’s see…
I’m female, I love classical music and play several instruments (my main is oboe), I prefer cats to dogs, and yes, my grammar is awful. I like to be outdoors, but also enjoy computer programming and digital art. I have ideas for a story and would like to write someday but don’t have the time right now.

I hope that I’ll fit in here, it would be great to get to know some other people with similar interests.

Re: Uhrm… Hello.

Well, we usually say something like “hello” or “welcome”, but of course I prefer “HOWDY”!!! Lol. This is the first forum I’ve joined as well and most everyone here is pretty nice and easy to get along with.

Hope to see your story idea one day! In the meantime though have fun and enjoy yourself!!!

Re: Uhrm… Hello.

I have similar interests to you, and hope you stick around and eventually post a story. I like writing stories and wish I had a cat to help with the editing process, I prefer classical music and jazz and I am a computer programmer.

Re: Uhrm… Hello.

I’ve always found it ironic that people who say their grammar is awful tend to have better than “normal” internet grammar.

Anyway, welcum to da foram!!!111

Re: Uhrm… Hello.

From texas by any chance WildKarate? :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow Write and Left, strange that we’re so similar. Cats help sometimes, but they can develop the nasty habit of laying on the keyboard.

@Jacyln, just wait until you see a story I write, proofing and I do NOT get along.

Thanks for the welcome you guys.

Re: Uhrm… Hello.

Heh, I don’t think I’ve ever proofread any story I’ve written. For the most part, I write purely on impulse. I don’t plan out a story and then write it over the course of a few days or a week or something, I just get a feigning interest in writing a story at various points, sit down, knock out ten or twenty pages in a couple of hours, and then I’m done with it for a while.

Luckily, I’ve written so many papers and reports and stories and such that while I do still make mistakes, I can generally write with grammatical coherency 95% of the time.

Re: Uhrm… Hello.

Yes ma’am, I sure am! (Said in a thick South Texas accent. Lol)

Re: Uhrm… Hello.

I just finished NaNoWriMo where you write a novel in a month. I couldn’t write with my friends this year, but the one woman in my town invited a bunch of NaNoers over and they sat around writing with kittens walking around and on them. I didn’t get to go though.

I hope you feel welcome and safe here.
