With this being the 50th anniversary of Lego’s, I thought to bring back the “Favorite Toy” thread!!
So sound off, what was/is your favorite toy or toys!!

Well unless my video game systems count or my computer and other tech devices It would hands down go to my 4 stuffed animals.
One large St.Bernard, One small scrappy light brown dog (had him since I was 3),One small whinnie the pooh bear, and as of last week a small husky plush puppy I got as a late brithday gift from my AB/Furry “Older Brother”. (Not a furry myself, just AB)
The Toy Thread
Brio trains, a yo-yo or maybe even Lego.
I also always quite liked my stuffed toys.
The Toy Thread
ALL my toys talked. Not just the ones that were the same type either.

You know if a glider has a propeller, they usually call them airplanes.

Yeh man - I used to spend hours a day on my bike. And Rollerblading. I miss rollerblading. Not enough to take it up again though.
Scalectrix. Toy and a half.
And a giant inflatable globe which was just awesome. It was basically a two and bit foot diameter balloon with a cloth cover on it, but a balloon that big was soo much fun.

In the warmer days of the year I go out riding my bike like maybe 6 miles in under a hour or so. Its fun to just ride and listen to to a Ipod playlist and take a camera. Hydro-packs are really handy too now.
I would bike a lot in my moms town on the coast of oregon if I live there. Its small enough so I can get anywhere on a bike and just save gas. But then again wal-mart and staples are like 2 mins away if I walked. I actully did that a lot during my christmas vaction there.

Looks like that company made an error too Vickie =p
I don’t ride my bike for fun anymore: it’s like my main mode of transport these days! I have to ride down to the river at 6am a couple of times a week. 30 mins seems a really long time when it’s pissing it down. Still, we race cars to make it fun. They’re kinda hindered by the speed limit though. Suckers.
The summer when I was 16 though we just spent the summer rediscovering bikes during the day and riding around the common. Was great. Friend rode into a pond and we discovered that it’s really hard to cycle on some of the horse paths.

Way back in the day I was into Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars, the aforementioned Legos and GI Joes…even though the latter broke far too easily.

I think…I’m going to have to go with…
That Batman action figure with the belt you could pull out and use as a grappling hook for him. They broke so easily, but were neat.
Any extra info you people have would be appreciated.

Does my bike count? I probably ride a few miles each day on it.
Otherwise, when I was younger, I used to collect action figures - I still have hundreds of ‘em in my parents’ basement. My favorite action figure was always a certain Darth Vader figure with a removable helmet. The detail was spot-on, the articulation was great, and come on, it’s Vader. How can you lose?

Favorite now and back then. My bike & skateboards .
I have gone through 5 of them each with all that I do. I used to just ride it 10-12 miles every week. Now I do crazy stunts and stuff on my bike. And am learning to do tricks on my SB BUt broke it a few weeks ago.

Most favorite action figure…GI Goes! followed by Ninja turtles and He-Man.
Lego’s were my favorite all around toy and I still have them all to this day! Get to start breaking them back out again soon to play with my son!
Transformers were amazing back then for me too! I could play for hours with those. I had all the seekers (aircraft) and of course soundwave and several others. I spent many weekends mowing grass and cleaning up for neighbors to buy my collection….only to have my mother sell them all for herself at a garage sale while I was away at a boyscout camp! GRRRRR!!!
Re: The Toy Thread
I thought Legos didn’t come here till the 1960’s.
Mine were Polly Pockets and Barbies when I was growing up.
The Toy Thread
Google said it. There’s no arguing with that. It’s better than Wikipedia.
The Toy Thread
Legos, Transfromers, M.A.S.K., Hot Wheels, He-Man just to name a few!!
I did play with my sisters Barbies, Care Bears, & Rainbow Brite!!

I played with my ex-girlfriend’s Barbies… which I’m just remembering. That’s an odd thing to suddenly remember. I remember she had the ones with the sparking roller blades.

Those Stretch-Armstrong toys were kinda fun…
