Yup - dad’s Jewish and my mum’s grandfather has in fact turned out to have been secretly Jewish. As in he married a Christian woman at the end of the 19th century and so simply began to regularly attend church etc. and never told anyone that he was not in fact a Christian at all. He seems to have kept up some practices in secret!
