Yeah, I saw this on my local news tonight. Incredible flying if you ask me. WOW. That pilot had to have some serious balls. WOW.

The aborted landing and being blown off the runway are both not uncommon, but actual contact with the runway from bits that aren’t supposed to…

This is why I prefer aircraft with higher wing loading.

So, I guess that was the most eventful part of the incident? Meaning he made the landing okay the second time?
