Snowpocalypse

How’s everyone preparing for the big Snowstorm coming our way?

Re: Snowpocalypse

Umm… two things.

1- there are people all over the world on this forum.

2- You haven’t listed your location, so we don’t even know where “your way” is.

Re: Snowpocalypse

  1. I’m in Michigan

  2. When I said “Our Way.”, I meant anyone from Oklahoma to the New England Region

Re: Snowpocalypse

We’re getting the ice crap here in northeastern Ohio and I for one do NOT want the ice at ALL! I know what’s going to happen. In '08 I lost power for 10 hours from Hurricaine Ike’s visit to Ohio, in 05, I lost power from something similiar for 6 hours- and this time I think my luck has run out on that part. I am NOT happy to have ice. I’d rather have the snow that paralyzes my area and keeps everyone home and shuts where I work down til Friday AM.

I’m prepared. In fact, in the next hour I am gonna start boozing it so I can sleep through said power outage. BTW, that was a joke. I have to do things so I am not gonna be getting drunk.

Re: Snowpocalypse

I “prepared” for it by getting snowed in at Joey’s house. At least between two iPhones and two Blackberry devices we don’t have much chance of losing internet access even if the DSL goes out  Now I just wish I knew how Joey got his cell provider to agree to write off any excess internet usage that might occur during this…

Re: Snowpocalypse

Re: Snowpocalypse

hit us pretty big here in Ill. We have several feet to shovel off our driveway before we can get the car out of the garage and into use. Plus they closed the schools so my wife is trapped at home with two boys ages 16 and 10 and of courser her husband. ME. My prayers are with everyone who has to deal with all of this S N O W.

Re: Snowpocalypse

My sympathies too!

I live in the tropics so no snow - but recently it rained for 4 days straight due to the Northeast Monsoon. A LOT of places got flooded (luckily i live in an apartment on a high floor, and its situated on top of a hill anyway ^_^)
