Re: Secrets of a Grade School Girl

Most forth graders have a tenth birthday sometime before they leave the forth grade. You start forth grade at age nine in September and leave forth grade at age nine. That was being nit picky.

I agree on the “two weeks” and “very next morning” thing.

I’m enjoying the story quite a bit, but is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling the Uncle Steve character is an adult baby?

Good one, you have my interest.

Re: Secrets of a Grade School Girl [Chapter 2]

I like the writing style. Sad to hear it probably won’t be continued; I’m curious what it was leading up to.

One weird structural thing in part 1… in paragraph 3 it goes into a reminiscence (Madison remember the day it happened. …) from which there is no clear return to the present.

I’m curious where you’re going with the uncle, or if he’s incidental. I’m not clear yet if he’s creepy, weird, just trying to be helpful, or what.
