While these are significantly smaller, they are thicker, and stretch farther than goodnites.
I tried to quote pictures somebody took… looked like they got deleted though. From teh pictures you could see though, they were thicker and a ton more stretchier.
They would fit almost anyone around, the only problem would be going from front to back, since they are only as long as a 4t-5t pullup.
Those are…surprisingly thick looking, I gotta say.
Huh. I’m really surprised that it took Pampers this long to come out with something like that.
What’s quite funny, though, is if you look at the Amazon page, in the “Consumers who bought this product also bought…” section…its all adult incontinence products. I found that somewhat amusing.
Who knows… I don’t really care myself. I just don’t. I’d rather buy a Browns ticket or a 12 pack of beer instead of diapers myself. But, I may buy these, if they fit someone who has a 40-inch waist.
I don’t like buying adult diapers myself, too fricking expensive.
I agree, the girl’s look far more childish than the boy’s, but I think that the pampers logo will be the key reason if these don’t do well. It is right on the middle of the package, right where it will be seen. A kid wouldn’t let his/her parent buy these because they would immediately see that and their mind would jump to “diaper.” At least on the goodnites it says pull-ups, and it is out of the way where it is less likely to be noticed.
It is somewhat suprising how thick they look.
If these were larger, I might actually try them, but they’d have to stretch quite a bit to be comfortable on me, so I doubt it.
Its even the same announcer lady as the rest of their diaper commercials. And their pullups commercials. I damn near expected to hear “I’m a big kid now!” at the end of that ad.
Though, I gotta note: That kid really did look like he was wearing a diaper (rather than something discrete) underneath his PJs, from the way they were bunching up. That could just be a wardrobe effect, but still…if that’s the actual general line of the “UnderJams” under pajama pants, they’re…not so discrete.
But on the other hand, their thickness could be (assuming that it translates into added absorbancy) an okay selling point, because one of the problems that some older kids have had with goodnites is that, with their new trim fit, they leak too easily.
