OMG are people really that stupid?

Don’t tell me when The Brady Bunch fans kept walking up to the house and knocking on the door and asking the owners if they can see the fictional Bradys,’ they actually thought they lived there. How about they thought instead the actors lived there.

And people actually thought the inside of their house was actually real because people would walk up to the house and peek in through the window to see the living room. Not even realizing it was a stage they filmed it on. I could tell it was the a set just by looking at the house and knowing no way would the second floor fit because the roof is too low.
Sure if they looked in through the window because they wanted to see what the inside of the house really looked like, that be a different story.

In the years since the show first aired, those who have owned the house have had problems with visitors who trespassed on the property to peep into the windows, or who came to the front door asking to see the fictional Bradys. As a result, the property has been extensively re-landscaped, so someone casually driving by most likely would not recognize it as the house shown in the TV show. For many fans, however, it is indeed still recognizable as the Brady house.

I can get in my car and drive all the way to Spokane and go up to the house and ask the owner there if Benny and Joon are home? I am not that stupid to believe they are real. Or even believe the actors live there and Johnny Depp is staying there as a housekeeper. Or even believe the inside of their house was real.

OMG are people really that stupid?

Yes, people are this stupid. I’d go so far to say that at least 1/4 of Americans are only barely above the mentally retarded line of intelligence.

OMG are people really that stupid?

LOL. I’d say borderline retarded.

I’ve read the average I.Q. is 100.

I’m sorry, but I find this quote hilarious. Of COURSE the average I.Q. is 100!! By the very definition of your terms, it would have to be.[/quote]

Really. Because average can vary based on what you’re scaling it on. Mathematically it’s 100, but the average IQ recorded might be different.

I mean if I recorded every single person in America’s IQ and averaged it out, I doubt it’d be 100 exactly.

I’m sorry, my mother said I scored above average but I find it real hard to believe the score was accurate. I don’t even feel that smart. I guess after years of doing I.Q. tests, I had good practice.

I even scored in the mildly retarded range when I was little but it went up as I got older. The last IQ score I saw in my records was 117 bit I don’t know if that was the overall, or performance or verbal IQ.

Heck kids have scored low on IQ tests but are really smarter than they have scored because of problems they have. Reason I scored low was because I couldn’t talk well my parents said.

OMG are people really that stupid?

Even before I’d seen the contents of the thread I just knew that the answer was ‘yes’.
