Never Trust Wunderground.

Wunderground, or Weather Underground is an online weather site for those that don’t know, and it’s also a piece of shit.

My current load of the site says it’s 53.7 degrees outside with a light rain. Currently in Bloomington, it is actually 42 degrees and a thunderstorm.

This site is fucking bogus. I just had to walk home in rain in what I was told was supposed to be sunny all day (from the same site of course).

See, this is why I use www.weather.com. It’s the weather channels website and hasn’t lied to me yet.

I just use Yahoo Weather, but they pull their info from The Weather Channel. TWC is only rarely way off…though there was the one snowstorm last winter (2007-2008) where Yahoo/TWC, AOL, MSN, and my local TV and radio stations all said we were getting an inch, MAYBE two. Twenty-five inches later….

I would stick with weather.com as well. I’m not sure how much better you were expecting from a group that willingly adopts a “Weather Underground” moniker.

Weather.com once failed to recognize that it was raining in my location. A glance out the window contradicted its information.

Yea, but they’re not wrong like that very often. I agree with Jaks (never thought I’d say that…I KID, JAKS :P). Wunderground is crap. Weather.com is wrong about 5% of the time, if I had to put a number on it. Wunderground, in my experience, is right about 5%.

I use Weather.com myself, and the live radar. That, and also looking outside my window. lol Plus, I use a local NBC affiliate for weather as the other stations tend to over-sensationalize the weather here.

I look outside.

The only time I ever check the weather forecast is before skiing and then it’s usually a crock.

the benefit of living in ireland. even if its a glorious day, always have rain gear with you. the weather here is biblical, about five years ago it rained for forty days and forty nights straight. and that was in the summer
