Hi, I am Wandering Soul. Why? because that is what i am. I have always loved reading and exploring new worlds in books, movies, and video games, and i always get lost in the story. now, thanks to my numerous psychological problems, i find myself lost in many fantasy worlds when i should be focused on the real one. At the end of the first movie, Falkor came to the real world with Bastian and basically scared the shit out of a few bullies messing with Bastian.
Oh, and yes I know Falkor is actually a dragon and the movie is very different from the book but the movie does make him look MUCH more like a flying dog.
Edit: Eh…I guess my reference wouldn’t make sense if I didn’t cite it right. I saw the neverending story movie like eight or nine years ago, and I’ve only ever gotten halfway through the book….

It was also obnoxious, however, Vickie, not just to add that you believe yourself to be reasonably cultured (something you could reasonably know), but that you believe yourself to be more cultured than Jaks. That would be something which - quite aside from whether or not you have sufficient grounds for saying so - pretty much hits right in there as obnoxious and unnecessary.

Yes - as I said, Nemo, when I did it, it was to prove a point. I was aiming to be obnoxious in that, to show Jaks that it is inappropriate to suggest that you are more cultured than another person
When you make a point, you need to make it in such a way that people can tell it’s a point. Otherwise it just sounds like an obnoxious statement.
What lesson are you teaching me by showing the same ambiguity that you think I didn’t understand to begin with?
