Yeah, I wasn’t sure if this was the best idea, but I found a group nearby on the MUD I play, that drive for about an hour every month to play. I forget when the sessions start, but they end around 11PM.

So if I vanish, that’s going to probably be what happened to me.

Good news! I didn’t! I did get to help start a mob war and got paid by a dragon though. Also, I punched an Air Elemental to smoke (I don’t think they can really die).

Yeah, that’s what I was confused about. I’m sure if I rolled my “Magic Theory” knowledge skill I might have known, but I decided not to.

It was a fun game. I got a dice-bag, a whole mess of d6s (72)… there was tortellini… And I got a handshake when all these groups of people (mafia, yakuza, etc.) decided to start coming after us with intent to kill for this one crazy focus ring that was created by a Dragon (the ring basically took whatever spell was attached to it, and, unlike an anchoring focus, automatically recharged itself). Everybody was stumped until I suggested why not play them all against each other. Thank you, Kurosawa.

Also, Long Beach was insanely pleasant compared to where I live. The air was nice and cool.
