A save point. Or more than one, so I could put them various places, but if I could only have one, I’d just keep it in my room and make sure to save every morning. That way, if I did something stupid that day, I could just reload my saved file and try again.

I may think of more than one thing, but off the top of my head, the Eternal Circle of Zerthimon from Planescape: Torment would be pretty cool.
(If there’s anyone else on this board who has any idea what I’m talking about, serious props are in order.)
An eight-ringed puzzle that becomes more difficult and teaches both magic spells and philosophical wisdom each time you unlock a sphere sounds pretty cool to me.

While we’re at it, I’d sure like an Omni-Tool from Mass Effect. It gives you personal shielding AND makes you more tech-savvy. Good combination.
