I did in fact read the article, though thank you for enquiring. The reminder definitely would have been helpful had I failed so completely. What I was pointing out is that the hookers allowed themselves to be picked up by 13 year olds in the first place: I doubt that they expected they were only wanted for video gaming. Whatever happened, the chances are that their original expectation wasn’t exactly in line with it.

A 13 year old from Texas who stole his Dad’s credit card and ordered two hookers from an escort agency, has today been convicted of fraud and given a three year community order.

The boys didn’t pick up the girls, they called an escort agency and ordered them. The girls had no idea that there were two thirteen year olds in the hotel room. They just showed up and found them. Since they were already paid, they stayed and played Halo, at their cut of $1000 a night. Really not a bad gig if you can get it.

Do you understand the difference between picking up hookers and calling an escort service and ordering them?

Yes, once again, I am aware of that hugely subtle difference. Still, as a hooker, you arrive at a room and are let in by a couple of thirteen year old boys. I assume they don’t answer the door with a cry of ‘we just want to play Halo’. At some point these women were fine with the fact that they were kids, unless they really worked hard to persuade them not to leave.

There’s also the possibility that the escorts/hookers figured they were screwed when the kids opened the door for them and, rather than get themselves on to the sex offenders list, figured that they’d make an alternative suggestion to cut their losses.

I know the difference between escorts and hookers. Nonetheless, it seemed to make it pretty clear that they were the kind of hooker that offered ‘special’ services.

Well since they had been paid, if they didn’t spend time with the kids they could be charged with theft. Besides they got paid and while they didn’t get any “bonus” pay, they weren’t being pawed by smelly overweight 50 year old men.
