hiya

ok so im coming out of the shadows of the lurkers corner? (I guess you could call it that) Anywho yeah long time lurker, who finally got bored enough to come out into the light and be seen.

shades eyes from the bright lights

ok so yeah going back to lurking… haha

hiya

Impressive….four statements differently worded but meaning the same thing and yet I still haven’t a clue who you are….

Ambiguity kicks ass.

hiya

i like being mysterious. hehe sorry old habits die hard, even from my old days at tvtome…

short bio, im 24, married, work for the evil corporate empire that is walmart, and ummm i like to travel. i live in tennessee at the moment and well thats about it? :stuck_out_tongue:

hiya

I thought you were going back to lurking?

hiya

smiles sheepishly ran outta things to read…

hiya

IP check isn’t that perfect anyhow. Everyone at my college has the same IP and the whole uni only has a limited number. Then there are people on nationwide servers sharing the same bank of dynamic IPs.

hiya

Nevertheless, I don’t think there is a rabbit-based conspiracy to infiltrate the forum via deceptive tactics.

hiya

Eh, walmart isn’t evil. At least…not to customers who shop there or to the economy. Employees however, that’s a different story. IIRC, the one here in bloomington NEVER gives full time hours to people, and it’s to cut costs on benefits and insurance.

hiya

Who would have thought that a shitty supermarket job would be… shitty.

hiya

Or rather a job in a shitty supermarket.

hiya

Shitty job in shitty supermarket should be double shitty.

hiya

well while i do love watership down, i personally prefer the redwall series. haha critters in a medevil setting with spears and such.

and yeah walmart has tried to cut our hours over the last few months saying that they werent making that much, 3rd shift managed to stay up at around 40.

if only i could write prose… haha and if i did write it would be scary, well grammaticly anyway…

hiya

giggles

Well, in my case, my real first name is Peter, so it seemed like a natural choice for an AB-related nickname.

Oh, and Watership Down is indeed a fantastic book.

hiya

hmmm well nice to meet ya peter lol :stuck_out_tongue: id say something about my nickname but that would be disturbing… anywho names actually chris here, so if there is actually a great rabbit conspiracy about to be brought forth… I want russia!

(yes i know this is an odd post but ive been up for 36 hours and i need sleep so 1 more post then bed)

hiya

You know, I actually had some really tasty rabbit for lunch today.

hiya

So hard to get good rabbit meat in Boston, sadly. Wouldn’t have minded a nice lunch. You’re lucky, Nemo.

hiya

Rabbit is delicious. It’s a pretty delicate white meat, but with a nice game-y flavour. If you ever come across some mention it as I have an absolutely amazing recipe.

I’m pretty lucky here as we actually have a really good market with a lot of butchers and a decent fishmonger as well as fruit and veg vendors with a bit of variety. Like the other day I was able to make myself some venison fillet with beetroot gratin, glazed salsify, curly kale and girolle mushrooms, all for a reasonable price. It’s damn hard normally to find salsify and raw beetroot. But so worth it.

hiya

your mention of such fine cooking is making me drool… i havent had anything rabbit flavoured in a while. The last free ranging food that’s considered abnormal was buffalo, which actually tastes better than ostrich…

hiya

I wouldn’t say buffalo is abnormal, nor, in fact, venison. To be honest, there are actually relatively few meats that I would call seriously abnormal.

hiya

lol :stuck_out_tongue: Rattle Snake Stew? >.< although it does taste more like a chicken stew than anything else…
