I’m not gonna lie, this is new for me. I’ve always loved these stories so much, but never really took the initiative to join the community. I’m so used to hearing how liking AB/DL content is disgusting, so this is a pretty awkward situation for me. I guess I’m just looking for assurance that liking this kind of stuff is ok before I continue with it. Thank you for your time.

What kind of answer do you expect on a site dedicated to such stories? I’m quite certain that everyone posting here has concluded liking the stories is well within the bounds of acceptable for themselves. You’ll have to answer that question for yourself. As far as I’ve ever heard, there are no known good ways to eliminate or redirect the desire, so finding a balance in your life is probably going to be a more practical use of your efforts.

You’re the one who needs to decide whether it’s okay. And more specifically, your own acceptance for yourself is the most important.
To be blunt, this stuff is nasty, and it is disgusting. I personally enjoy some of the nastier elements of it; some that a decent percentage of this interest do not share. But so what? Not everyone else needs to like what I like. Sure, it’s unfortunate that many others may in fact despise what I like, but if they can’t be civil about it, then should I really value their opinion?
Here, you’ll find plenty of well written stories which feature content you enjoy. You won’t be judged harshly for liking it. But at the same time, we’re not a support group. We’re often blunt, but we mean well… Especially with stories; we don’t give much slack to writers, in hopes of helping them improve. But we’re more than happy to provide an abundance of feedback, as long as sometime has an interest in improving.

“this kind of stuff” is a very broad category. We have both good and bad stories here. I suppose it’s OK to like either type. (After all, we read some of the really bad ones for the same reason you slow down when passing a crashed car on the highway. Sometimes we even have stories that are really, really bad on purpose.) As for the content of the stories, you’re bound to find stories with things you like and things you don’t like. The important thing to remember is that you’re allowed to comment on both (even if you don’t write stories yourself) as long as you do it in a civilised manner. Now that said… Welcome to the madhouse.

For the first few years of discovering my fetish I felt awful, I believed all fetishes to be sinful and I was already fearing Hell for my own lack of worship.
