Harvey Korman has passed away.
I remember Harvey Korman. I will miss him, but I will ALWAYS wonder why he did the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special. Yes, I even have a copy of it on my computer and a bootlegged DVD.
How he did that was baffling. But Korman will be missed.

I can’t say I remember him and keep thinking of Harvey Fierstein, but I’m sure he will be missed by those who do.
Harvey Korman has passed away.
Very sorry to hear about this. He had one of the funniest roles in cinematic history in Blazing Saddles, and was an accomplished actor all around. Still, he had a long, full life, so good work, Mr. Korman. You’ll be missed.

Yeah, I saw this on the news after Lost. Very sad… I loved him in what little of the Carol Burnett Show I’ve seen. And in Blazing Saddles, of course.
Harvey Korman has passed away.
Never really watched anything he was in, he will be missed by TV & Hollywood!! I saw him on the Carol Burnett reunion show, thats about it!! Was Blazing Saddles any good? I have never seen it!!

Monty Python and the Holy Grail might be funnier. That’s about the only movie I can think of that’s even in the same league as Blazing Saddles. If you haven’t seen it, I’d highly recommend it… heck, even if you have seen it, I’d highly recommend it anyway!

If you like Mel Brooks (Classic Mel Brooks a la Young Frankenstein or The Producers, that is, though the newer stuff is good too) then you’ll like Blazing Saddles

Blazing saddles is great. But DO NOT WATCH IT IF YOU ARE PC.
That movie could NOT be made today, and has the N-word said more times in an hour than BET does in a day…
It’s all tongue in cheek, my two favorite quotes come from it:
“Where are all the white women at?” and:
“Excuse me while I whip this out.” I say that every time I pull my wallet out at the store. I get a laugh if the clerk saw the movie.

Just rewatched Blazing Saddles last night. There’s nothing like it.
“My name’s Jim, but you can call me… Jim.”
Harvey Korman has passed away.
Greatest “Blazing Saddles” moment has got to be either Bart taking himself hostage or Mongo punching the horse (if I remember correctly).
Anyway, that’s the only thing I saw Harvey Korman in, but it was a hell of a role. Also, in case anyone missed it, Sydney Pollack died too. You may not recognize the name, but you’ve probably seen at least one of his movies.
