Got a weird PM

Some dude called MannInBlackk here sent me a PM that said viruses’ activities from my computer were detected, and that I should go to this site: [link removed]
to fix it.

I clicked on the link and a big warning came up telling me the website hosted malware.

The PM was apparently an automated PM because he signs it as Forum Member, and it says at the top to not reply.

So what’s up?

EDIT: I did some research and it turns out it’s a bot that gets victims from forums to click on the link so it can infect your computer. Removed the link.

Yeah, I’m not the most internet savvy person around. I know I’m an idiot for clicking on strange links.

I assure you, as a Mac owner, spam is still possible.

Spam yes, virus not so much. Mac still sucks though :). Go PC.
