While on a recent trip to Pittsburgh, PA, I stumbled upon this little item in a K-Mart. I don’t quite know why it was manufactured or what possessed me to take a picture of it… but I did.
Goodnights…in a can???
A single goodnite in a can as well. Weird.
Goodnights…in a can???
maybe they packaged them like that because a can is less bulky than a package? dunno. kinda wierd though.
Goodnights…in a can???
They are sample packs. Wal-Mart sells them for 99 cents here. Not sure about the can design, either. They used to just sell them in a plastic bag that said “trial package” and I think the little bags came with two. It is nice to see them offer a trial size… so you can try ONE and if it sucks, you’re only out a buck and not $12 for a pack of 20 or something.
Goodnights…in a can???
What’s wrong with them?
I find the problem with Goodnites is that their leak guards aren’t good enough. Apparently for pubescent+ boys the girls’ ones actually work better.
Goodnights…in a can???
And at that price they cost as much or more than an adult diaper.
Goodnights…in a can???
But that was for a packet of one: they’re cheaper if you get more, right?
Goodnights…in a can???
Sadly, only marginally. You’re better off with even an awful brand of adult diaper, as well. Even the ones that feel like paper chafe less than the goodnite boxers.
Goodnights…in a can???
I saw a similar package design for Depends pullups at K-Mart the other day (…I didn’t even know that K-Mart still existed, but the place I was applying for a job at was in a mall that, I swear, must contain the last K-Mart in Canada in it). It had maybe…2-5 (unsure what the exact number was, wasn’t more than 5, though) pullups in it, in a vertical bag. It was kind of weird. I’m guessing it must have been a sampler of some sort.
“Goodnights in a Can”. I’m almost tempted to pick up one just to dissect it out of morbid curiosity (as Vickie’s assessment kind of intrigues me). It makes me wonder if the makers of these products have ever even met their target consumer group, because I cannot imagine a kid wearing those things. At least, none of the kids that I grew up with. I’d think that having bright almost-pastel blue paper boxer shorts would draw MORE attention than just the regular, run-of-the-mill white brief Goodnights.
Goodnights…in a can???
It’s the idea of paper boxers that gets me. PAPER!
Goodnights…in a can???
The hospital gown stuff? Daaaaaamn. I was at the doctor’s a month ago and couldn’t even get into the thing without ripping bits of it.
And that’s exactly the thing. Why have boxers if you’re gonna wear them under pyjamas? I would have assumed that they’d have made the pants part out of the cloth covering that they use. Guess that was a little much to hope.
Goodnights…in a can???
Ive been in the new hospital dressings… the paper ones… and they are so not comfortable. Actually they make your body sweat a little more and these would possibly cause a rash I would think.
