Gettin' hammered here in Ohio...

Wow, it’s white-out, it’s a full-blown blizzard. I’ve been watching the snow all night fall here. Schools canceled up the ying-yang and I’m just glad I do not have to go anywhere or do anything except play with my XBox 360.

Wow… just wow. Just glad I don’t have to go ANYWHERE. You’d need a taun-taun or a sled-dog team just to go anywhere. WOW. Sun’s starting to rise and I can’t even see the campus buildings I’d normaly see past the trees. Can even barely see the trees. WOW.

I even saw and heard something RARE, thundersnow. Wow. Never heard that before…

Re: Gettin’ hammered here in Ohio…

We’re getting the same thing here. If I hadn’t put in for today as a vacation day already, I probably would have stayed home.

Part of that is the town I live in isn’t very good at plowing my street, or the two of the three major ones I take to work. The City of Buffalo itself is supposed to plow the third and may or may not get to it. You’d think Buffalo would want one of it’s manufacturing sectors to be open to traffic…

Re: Gettin’ hammered here in Ohio…

I heard the thundersnow last night, meh doesn’t like thunder. It was difficult to get to work this morning; the bus I was slid quite a bit.

To answer Kita, yeah, I was drinking during the storm. LOL. I had a case Mike’s Hard Limeade I wanted to finish off and chill out with so I figured, the hell with it all. lol.

To follow up, we got about seven inches here where I live, it stopped snowing here before noon. I just sat back and watched it come down like a banshee. Wow.

Roads are cleared out, things seem back to normal for now.
