Hi all, I went by Dnl on the xorbit board, and registered under this name on the replacement
for that one. I never got around to posting there, and that board went down.
I have been trying to register here since last June.
For some reason my system would not allow me to.
That PC died a few weeks ago, and I am on my previous PC.
Is that the reason I got in this time??
It wasn’t your system that was the problem, it was your email account. It was bouncing the validation emails from the board’s email address Actually, it was bouncing emails from every email address I tried to use to contact you and inform you of the problem.
(You should have gotten an email from me about it yesterday actually :))
Welcome! I am the other guy who is responsible for the hardware and 99% of the backend software You will not see me around much unless I am dealing with a technical problem on the site/server or I happen to be cleaning up after a spammer.
Hostmaster, I Did get emails from you. I replyed to those, but got no reply to the ones I returned.
I can’t understand why my email was doing that. It is the Same one I used before!
Kita, I know who you are. I Have been coming and reading for most of the months I was trying to Re-register. I do like your avatar. Don’t see those commercials anymore though.
I would like to know what setting was changed in my email to cause the problem.
Could it be some setting in the PC that died??
This is the one I was using back on the xorbit baords.

That’s what was driving me nuts, I knew you were getting the initial email, but when Kita approved you, the validation emails would bounce back to the postmaster account on the server indicating Yahoo and rejected them because of your anti-spam settings were blocking them.
Would you mind if I tried emailing you from the address that was being rejected when I tried to email you about the problems before the board changed addresses?
Email me from as many different ones as you want to try.
Like I said though, the Biggest difference is the PC itself.
Untill I get the other one back Up & running, I can not tell you if it was the different Anti-virus/anti-malware I was using.
I know that one had Avast, but I don’t recall the others, this one AVG & Threatfire
The big problem, I am not tech enough to know How to change those settings if that was the cause.
