Now I’m gonna have to start off stupid until I figure out if you can embed YT videos.
So anyway, I’m on an unending journey to find music I like. The list is extensive, currently and growing constantly.
All suggestions welcome.
I’ll get right into it with a band I absolutely love.
Kill it Kid.
With two lead singers, male and female, their sound is based in blues, but varies wildly.
Honestly, there’s not a song of theirs I don’t like. I’ve not met anyone whose heard of them either, so I’m compelled to spread it around.
Feel free to carry on with your personal favorites. I’m always trying to find the more obscure artists, because there’s just far too many that go unheard.
Also, I’m almost certain there’s already a ‘general music thread’ somewhere in here. If it’s better to just revive that one, so be it. I do like the title of this one though.
Re: Feet up, strapped in, volume maxed; it’s a MUSIC THREAD!
I’ll save you some time, the board doesn’t trust HTML5 embed codes nor does it allow flash embeds for security and privacy reasons.

If there is, it’s so old I’ll possibly invent a LART over IP device just to smack whoever revives it into the next presidency

Without replying to each an every one of those, I will say that Deloused in the Comatorium is fantastic; easily one of my all time favorites.
I’ve been jamming to Animals as Leaders recently; but something else that WBDaddy posted a while ago here.
It’s quite good, not my usual cup of tea, but then again I don’t usually drink tea.
For my contribution today; how about two polar opposites?

First we have Left Lane Cruiser. For the longest time, I always thought I liked a more smooth and clean sound, then I found these guys. Okay, maybe it wasn’t quite like that, but of all the things I liked, this didn’t match hardly any of 'em. But I still love them. Something about the absolute cacophony that is this band, is somehow relaxing. Can’t put my finger on it.
Next, for the complete other side of the spectrum. https://youtu.be/O-0wfd6jCyw?list=PLbUPG65T-DrDV32qyAk3M2ODHmU3r4Kc9
Smooth, emotional, sad. This whole album is beautiful. If any of you played MGS3, ‘Way to Fall’ should be recognizable. But pretty much every song on here is worth listening.
You damn right.

Well, you can only do it one video per post but now you can
Just surround the URL you get from the share widget with and it will be securely embedded. Although I actually still recommend not using it

So you dug Frodus? Man, for a three piece, their sound was HUGE. And it translated to their live show, which made it even better.

Oh and I love me some Mars Volta (and At The Drive In), so yeah, there’s that too.
Here’s the brain breaker for you…
Mr. Bungle basically was my gateway drug into all things prog and abstract.
