I have some friends of mine that just recently got up here to Alaska and have been here for a month now just kinda hanging out until they can get themselves a home. Well, they had to take there 4 month old to the hospital last Friday when they thought they noticed he wasn’t following them in one eye. The docs got to looking at it last Friday and then again Monday of this week and believe he has Cancer in his left eye, so we have had to pack them up and send them flying back down to the lower 48 to see a specialist in this field to confirm if it is cancer and if it’s something they can cure. Mom and dad are really frazzeled and though I’m not religious anymore, I know the mom is, so I’d like to ask any of you who also are…to pray, or think about them or something. They have been wanting to come here for years and now they are not even sure they will be able to come back. But for now it’s just a matter of making sure their baby boy is getting the treatment he needs.

Anyways I wish and pray the kid the best of luck, no one that young has never done anything wrong and does not desevere anything like cancer this early in life.

I may not believe in it any longer, but that doesn’t mean others don’t…and who am I to tread on there thoughts, wishes and dreams. Right now…like them I’m open to anything and just wish them the best.
