I can’t seem to come up with more than one meaning for “I don’t believe you”. No matter how I read it, it comes out the same way. So unless you speak some alien language, your argument of semantics is flawed. No matter the argument, you inferred I was a liar.

Belief isn’t always directly related to trust and truth, as it can also apply to faith, confidence, or just general opinions. An opinion can be based off of truth or lies, but is never directly related, only indirectly related. Truth however is based off of fact and that would make it differ from opinions.
Therefore, by those changes in meanings of pure semantics, I did not call you a liar, and in fact called my self lacking in belief of your explanation.
To illustrate an example, take the first Matrix Movie in the scene where Morpheus was explaining to Neo that humans had been transformed into batteries. Neo said “I don’t believe you.” That was not calling Morpheus a liar considering he’d already seen many things that would make it the truth already (such as the holes in his body, regrowing hair in that scene, dissolving from a program when first leaving the matrix), but rather an opinion based on denial.
Furthermore, I already told you, I never told you what it was that I didn’t believe. The obvious choice is that it had to be about your love life and aunt, however, the obvious choice of responding to this thread to begin with would be “Welcome to the forum” and I already went with the unobvious by declaring I didn’t believe you, so what makes you think I wouldn’t be unobvious with the declaration itself?
I could have not believed that your name was Jeff or that you were trying to keep your introduction short, but by first instinct, to which I don’t blame you is to go for the backstory of your love life and aunt at what I don’t believe. There is no point to this argument, remember that I already stated I’m doing it because it sounded fun.
