I read this article in the newspaper today and wanted to know everyone’s opinions. My opinion, he deserves it.

Well, he DID venture behind enemy lines to round up the Japanese and coax them to surrender, so I say a case could be made.

Wow… that’s actually a pretty inspiring story… I don’t think I’m a good judge of who gets that medal and doesn’t, but it seems like those who have it would be proud to have such a hero in their ranks…

I think that he certainly deserves consideration for the Medal of Honor. Not only did he risk his life to save his fellow soldiers, he risked his life to save enemy soldiers and civilians.
