I’m looking for a decent 720p LCD HDTV to replace the 15-17 inch CRT TV I am using as my bedroom TV.
Requirements:
17-19 inches or more.
720p LCD Display.
Headphone Jacks (mandatory).
Simulated Surround (Sound).
$120-$150 U.S.D. (after tax and shipping). Wal-Mart must have it online or in store, I only have Wal-Mart Gift Cards.
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)!
Note: My budget’s max spending limit is $150, so please do not suggest an HDTV that would cost me more than $150 (after tax and shipping).
Usually they’re used for connecting to some older high end surround sound systems that don’t have digital inputs available. They’re pretty rare these days, but some do still exist (and a side note: My parents TV is a cheap Emerson model that let’s you switch the operating mode of the headphone jack)
Basically the same reason, except they assume you’re going to be using analog RCA cables to hook it up to a surround sound system
It’s basically a way to save money too. Those little jacks cost about $8 on average to add to each TV, and the manufactures who make the cheaper models tend to not like eating that much of the cost in mass production.
The HDTV my mama bought me also has a headphone jack and PC input port, though I don’t know if it cost her $170, when I asked her how much it cost, she told me it was none of my business.
Can anyone recommend a TV for me. My only requirements are that it doesn’t get Ultimate Fighting Champion fights. I will pay any price so that I don’t have to see two grown men rolling around on the floor spooning one another.

Ah……Mothers. We do the same thing in my family. She probably doesn’t want you to concentrate on the cost and instead wants you to enjoy it, quietly of course. Lol

This is the HDTV she bought, in case you’re curious.
