Cute yes…but somehow, I get this feeling that aged milk in a bottle just isn’t that good! (Can’t tell you how many times I have found bottles or sippy cups in either of my boys rooms over the last 3 years now and realized it was not fresh milk!) It’s even worse now with sippy cups only in the house and then I don’t know she gave my oldest some “trawbry mik” (strawberry milk) in his sippy a day or two prior in the cup we normally use as his night time water cup so then I goto open it up to rinse out the previous nights water and COUGH GAG* and finally nearly vomit in my mouth at the smell of the days old milk remnants!

And I can’t imagine that it ages especially well either.

Yeah, we should probably point out all the unrealistic facets of this comic strip.

Yeah, like how would a baby crawl all the way down into the basement in the dark, stand up, find the light switch, reach the switch, and then take a inquisitive gander at his own milk cellar collection.
Furthermore, why is the baby a cartoon? Real babies don’t have black lines around them to illustrate their position in accordance to the world; and what mother would leave their baby unattended like that?
I call Fake!!!

You ruined it. Both of you.

Fully agree, Nemo. Even if Jaks and seventyeyes were being sarcastic, I can no longer look at that comic and see the irony of it all. I can only see child neglect and impossibilities. Thanks Jaks and seventyeyes, for murdering my suspension of disbelief

I actually meant that they ruined the previously good humour of the thread :- )

As a father of two of these such kids…I can easily attest to you how easy it is for a 1 year old and even my 3 year old (who was just 2) to be able to climb up and down stairs dark or not, turn on my basement lights and go play with my transformers….after he has taken a nice long look at which ones he wants to play with.
But no, it was never meant to be a “point out the obvious” post, it was just me thinking how nasty that would taste. I’m all down for some nicely aged wine, but I don’t even do milk one day over the cutoff!
