Who cares what his political views were? He was a great actor. He definitely will be missed.

Heston was not only a civil rights activist who marched with Martin Luther King, but he was also a pretty good actor. The Ten Commandments was the first thing I saw him in, but I think I’ll remember Touch of Evil more. At any rate, he, unlike Nemo, will be missed.

he was a great actor but somewhat of a dick in the NRA but that doesn’t matter. He would be miss. I like him in the Plants of the Ape movies and in the Omega Man Movie.

He sure went a little nutty towards the end of his life, but he was a great actor and, as WingZ pointed out, activist. He’ll be missed, but living with Alzheimer’s is no way to live.

In my opinion; PLANET OF THE APES. NUFF SAID.

K, sure I am a huge fan of the original, but he was the man back then. Planet of The Apes is one of my top-five all-time favorite movies, and sure, I disagreed with his view, but still… in my opinion. PLANET OF THE APES. K? He was awesome in that.

I loved it when he told the apes to ‘Get your paws off me, you dirty ape!’ Sorry, but that is one of my all-time favorite movie scenes. Political views, what not I don’t give a Goddamn.

I realy never seen his movies and don’t really want to either. Also that whole “from my cold dead hands” thing to me was pretty stupid.

I do support gun ownership though mainly since if they were banned well bad people will still get their hands on them.
