Blizzard decides that privacy isn't important anymore

Because apparently there is not a single malicious person on the internet who knows how to use Google.

Re: Blizzard decides that privacy isn’t important anymore

Wow….

I have a lot of respect for blizzard and unconditionally love almost all of their games without question as I’ve never seen a single problem with any of them, and then this happens.

Re: Blizzard decides that privacy isn’t important anymore

Considering I’ve never used the forums, it doesn’t bother me in the least. Like the one person in the guide said, don’t post. Although it does run the risk of giving out information of those who have posted and now don’t want their information to be given out. I’m assuming it’ll change their past posts (as well as present) to their “John/Jane Doe”.

Re: Blizzard decides that privacy isn’t important anymore

If this forum decides to go with real first and last names, I am gone. At least there are no negative repercussions from people finding out you like video games. The topics here are another story.

Re: Blizzard decides that privacy isn’t important anymore

Bunny Acres has a rule that your screenname has to be your real first name and the first initial of your last name. They think it cuts down on people not knowing who people are or something. shrugs

Stalking is pretty unlikely, IMO. Has anyone here been stalked by someone who saw them on an ABDL site or know someone who has?

Re: Blizzard decides that privacy isn’t important anymore

That’s not a fair example, most people don’t use their real names on those sites, usually to avoid being identified. How many people would post of AB sites if they were forced to use their real names?

Re: Blizzard decides that privacy isn’t important anymore

Eh, I don’t think stalking is an issue.

There are 5 Josh Harris’s in bloomington, 2 with the name spelled Joshuah (instead of just “ua”), stalking really isn’t going to be easy with most people.

Still, it’s not a matter of stalking anyway, more a matter of violating privacy. Sure, they have every right to do it, it’s their website afterall, but it doesn’t make it a good thing to do.

Re: Blizzard decides that privacy isn’t important anymore

Yes, I do know someone who was stalked after some fucktard found his profile on Diaperspace where he’d used his real name. I won’t go into specifics but let’s just say it ended badly for both parties.

More than you realize. I do on here, but then again I can’t hide mine :stuck_out_tongue:
