Man, I love how the weather weenies around here go nutsy fagin whenever there is a snowstorm. And people too. I got called off work tonight cause of this storm that’s coming our way. That; I am NOT happy about. I have already lost some hours cause of snow and ice storms this year.
It’s not even freaking snowing yet, and people are freaking out. The weather pukes are going nuts over it. Forecasting anywhere from 10-17 inches of fresh snow through Wednesday night.
I love watching people get paranoid over snow. It’s comical in a way. I am already prepared. I’ve got a fridge full of beer, Mt. Dew, and plenty of food. I swear, I will be SOOOO happy when this winter is finally over.
Yes, I agree with you. I hope there is not that much coming, i get lake effect on top of the normal amount and I already have close to 2 and 1/2 foot out side now.
Well… I got 10+ inches where I live. I worked tonight, but we were dead with no customers and the owner closed the place at 8. I got done by 9. I only worked two hours, but still… that’s better than nothing.
Roads are bad here, and the plows were going over the streets while I waited for my boss, the owner to get done. Only like two or three bars were open compared to the normal amount on a normal Wednesday night. Ray’s, a place made famous by Drew Carey was closed. They usually NEVER close.
The city cops had cars all over the place. I got a ride home tonight from my boss because most of the KSU campus was not plowed. It was bad even walking into work.
They say the same thing about Boston, Mike. When I first moved here, I was seriously freaked out by the weather (50 one day, 8 inches of snow the next, 50 the third day, etc) that I almost said screw it and moved to Maui lol
