As many here know, I am a big baseball fanatic. Lately, I’ve been staying up late to watch the early games LIVE from Tokyo. I caught the first game between Japan and China, and yesterday morning’s contest between Chinese Tapei and Korea.
I cannot wait to catch some of the games later today. I am in baseball heaven. I love how the world has gotten so small. I can catch games even from Tokyo on my computer. I LOVE IT!

Anyone else enjoying the World Baseball Classic like I am?
I like the concept of the WBC, and think it’s a great chance for players from lesser scouted countries (looking at you here, Italy and South Africa) to showcase their skills and talents and maybe get a shot at the Show.
On the other hand, I knock on wood that none of the Sox players in this thing, (Dustin Pedroia, Kevin Youkilis, David Ortiz, Dice-K, Jason Bay or any of the others) get hurt. That would suck so bad if the Red Sox lost anyone to a season-ending injury suffered while playing in the WBC. Same goes for every big league player from any MLB club that’s playing…except A-Rod. I wouldn’t mind seeing him get spiked. Not enough to end his season, just enough to make him less effective lol. One of those ‘nagging’ injuries he never seems to get (insert lame and overused steroid joke here lol)

So far what I’ve seen of the WBC has been pretty exciting. The Netherlands-Dominican Republic game and the USA-Canada game were particularly good.
