I get most of my diapers from xp medical but when in a pinch I have to settle with buying from a local store. I live in Portland Oregon a rather large metro city, I’ve noticed over the past year or so the “adult diapers” disapear from the shelf and replaced by flimsy pull-up style tena or depends or what have you. In fact there is only one store in Portland that sells depend fitted briefs it just happens to be the store I work at though. I was just wonder if any body else has noticed this trend.

I suppose you can see why: they’re a million times easier and less degrading presumably if you need them. Having to change a diaper is a bit full on, whilst pulling up a pair of pants isn’t so bad.

yea i find it similar over here in the uk. But personally I have vry little confidence in the pull up style ones as they always seem to leek and most annoyingly they require the removal of shoes (so you can get your trousers off) to put them on. Which actually i supose in writing this is because you will have to wash your trousers if you have peed in a previous one.

I’ve noticed the same. I normally just buy depends (yeah yeah, I know…) but last time I went to buy some I had to go to 3 different drug stores before I found normal diapers rather than pull-ups. Luckily there’s a drug store on almost every block here.

maybe they should put on tear-away sides. Like potty training pull-ups have. ::Sighs:: Oh yeah I forgot how would you then put the new one on lol.

Depends

Didn’t Depends use to have the pull-ons that had tapes also?

Edit: I just went to the Website and Depends still has the “adjustable” underwear which you can either pullon, or split apart and put on like a diaper.

Yeah, that’s basically what the Depends adjustable underwear is.
Although they only have two velcro tabs on either side unlike the cruisers, which if I remember correctly had a velcro strip running up the length of the side.
