Hello my first post this forum, so my packs were running out and my usual supplier that sends them to me, told me that they’ve discontinued the the plastic tena as it’s being replaced with textile material, this bothers me because i prefer plastic over textile, personally aside from Tena i don’t think anything tops that in the UK.
Dose anyone know any other that are just as good as Tena Maxi?

Molicare? They still come in plastic versions and are produced in Germany, shouldn’t be too much trouble getting them in UK.

Thanks i just checked on it i think they have them in this country too.
It seems like i’m not the only one that was aware of this, apparently others have stated that the classic brand
have been discontinued since early spring 2014.

See, that’s strange. I literally got my latest (and now well hidden) pack of Tenas and they’re still plastic backed. The cheaper version of the Abenas were still plastic a couple of months ago - Every Nappy did do them but I don’t know if they still do

Not all that strange. Some suppliers are likely to still have a few of the plastic backed ones in their inventory depending on how often they are purchased. Heck I know a supplier that still has Attends in a bag design they changed quite some time ago.
