So this is a little something I have to do for a project. I hypothesize that there is a negative correlation between people that know American Idols and people that know vice presidents. I’m currently collecting data and I need you to participate.
Please off the top of your head:
List as many of the six American Idol winners as you can
Try to list six vice presidents that did not become president (current one counts)
Do not cheat as you have no reason to. And please do not look at other people’s answers (or you can PM me so that no one’s answers show period).
If the current one counts, then Dick Cheney, Al Gore, Aaron Burr, John C. Calhoun, Walter Mondale, and Hubert Humphrey. At least I think Humphrey was a vice…
EDIT: Yeah, just checked, Humphrey was indeed a VP. Also, for those who don’t know, Calhoun was Andrew Jackson’s VP, and one of Jackson’s few regrets about his presidency was “Not hanging [that bastard] John C. Calhoun when I had the chance.” Gotta love politics.

They are the only ones since I did got follow news at all until I was about 9 years old. I was born in 1987 and my U.S. history classes never highlighted vice presidents or at least not enough to make me want to recall it.
Also I dislike american idol since more people vote for that then real elections like the 22 tommrow. I don’t even watch the show either I just know due to friends and I over hear about it. Then I hear some songs on the radio etc.

Vickie, Nixon was Eisenhower’s vice, if I’m not mistaken.
Also, a note to people: the original poster was asking only for VPs that did not become president, so Johnson (both of them), Nixon, Adams, Ford et al. probably don’t count.
Well clay and ruben was a very close american idol race as I recall. Some even said it was riged, but it dosn’t matter since I have not heard from either of them in years.
Reuben was on the Tyra Banks show a bit ago, judging a Modelling Competition. And yes it was very close. Whether it was rigged or not…. I’m still correct when I say Clay didn’t win.

I never said you were wrong. Nor would I care if it was rigged both went on to lead what seams to be failing carrers.
