Yep, there might be a remake to The Crow with Stephen Norrington (Blade and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) as writer and directer. I’m happy with a idea of a remake but how the hell are you going to live up to a cult movie best known for a tragic death.
Another crow remake? God, when will they learn that the first two crow remakes sucked and the only good crow ever made was the original with Brandon Lee.
Actually this one is going to be a remake of the one that had Brandon Lee in it…[/quote]
And? My point is the only good “Crow” movie was the one with Brandon Lee, and unfortunately due to his death, we can’t get another potentially good sequel or remake or TV series or what have you, especially when you have no talent actors like Edward Furlong and David Boreanez as The crow and Satan.
It doesn’t matter if this is the exact same plot, with the same characters and the same character names even, they have failed to make decent crow movies/series’ in the past and I have absolutely no expectations for this one.

While it’s foolish to assume it’s going to be terrible because Brandon Lee is dead (He was only human after-all. No one is god’s gift to the acting profession), given the nature of the sequels, it does bode badly.

It’s going to be terrible not because Brandon Lee is dead, but because the no talent directors who make the sequels are terrible at casting. If I were directing would sooner cast Trent Reznor as Draven rather than some shitty junkie who can’t brush his fucking teeth for a movie like Edward Furlong.
Ed was good in T2: Judgement day, and that was it. His career died and should have stayed dead, not ressurected as made for TV shit movies, and for all intent and purpose you can tell I really hate Edward’s “ability” to act.
Right now movies basic on graphic novel/comic book is a big thing right now and what better way to do that then remake the cult classic movie, The Crow. Brandon Lee well always be The Crow and anyone else who try will fail. I like the idea of a remake, but the movie is going to end up sucking unless they try and make it into a tribute to the original instead of trying to make it better because there no way in hell you can make it better then original because 3 movies and 1 television show try before and each one, as you guess it, fail.
Anyway I probably watch it since I’m a fan of The Crow so if the movie any good, I probably end up buying and if it bad, I probably let it die a quick death like the sequels. Also I’m curious to see who they cast as Eric Draven/The Crow because none of the past actor could live up to Lee performance of the character. I would suggest Heath Ledger because of his performance as the Joker, but he pass away so yea…
